Why is SPF often problematic for oily skin?
Oily and combination skin can react to some SPF products with increased shine, a heavy feeling on the skin or more visible pores. This is often caused by heavier emollient textures, a greasy finish or layers that don't blend well with makeup. MatteControl Tinted Face Fluid was formulated with an emphasis on a lightweight texture, a naturally more matte-looking complexion and everyday wearing comfort. The goal was to create an SPF that provides very high protection while still respecting the needs of oily and combination skin.

Why was a hybrid UV system chosen for SPF 50?
When developing SPF 50, the focus was on combining very high UV protection with a pleasant texture suitable for everyday use. The hybrid UV system uses a combination of modern organic filters with high photostability and non-nano mineral zinc oxide, which helps eliminate white cast as well as an unpleasant greasy feel on the skin. The UV filters used were selected for their high photostability, broad-spectrum protection and high tolerability, even for sensitive skin. The formula also contains no controversial older-generation UV filters. The focus was primarily on safety, functionality and gentleness to the skin, so the resulting protection meets high standards for everyday use.

How does MatteControl differ from classic SPF fluids?
The formula was designed for skin that needs UV protection without a greasy finish, a heavy feeling or excess shine throughout the day.

Which UV filters does the product contain?
The product contains a combination of four photostable, new-generation UV filters:
• Tinosorb S (Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine) – broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection
• Uvinul A Plus (Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate) – protection against UVA1 radiation
• Uvinul T150 (Ethylhexyl Triazone) – high UVB protection
• Non-nano Zinc Oxide (Zinc Oxide – non nano) – mineral UV filter suitable even for sensitive skin
The filters are photostable, do not degrade one another, and were chosen with an emphasis on very high protection and comfort for everyday use.

What is willow bark extract?
Willow bark extract is a natural source of salicylates used in cosmetics for oily and blemish-prone skin. It is used in products focused on a fresh-looking complexion, comfort for skin prone to imperfections and care for skin with increased sebum production. This refers to the effect of the ingredient itself, not the final product.

What is Zinc PCA?
Zinc PCA is a modern sebum-regulating active ingredient used in the care of oily and combination skin prone to excess sebum production. It works specifically to reduce shine on the skin and helps maintain a balanced, matte and visually even complexion throughout the day. It also supports skin comfort and its natural balance without excessive drying or disrupting the skin barrier.

Can I use MatteControl every day?
Yes. The formula was designed for everyday use throughout the year. The lightweight texture feels weightless on the skin, and the formula, free from synthetic fragrances, silicones and mineral oils, was created with an emphasis on high tolerability, even with regular use on oily and combination skin.

How to apply MatteControl Tinted SPF fluid correctly?
• Apply as the last step of your morning skincare routine
• Apply a sufficient amount to the face, neck and ears
• Spread evenly over the skin
• When spending time outdoors, reapply approximately every 2 hours
• The product can be used alone or under light makeup

Important recommendations for sun exposure
Do not expose infants and young children to direct sunlight. Excessive sun exposure poses a serious health risk. Even products with very high SPF protection do not provide 100% protection against UV radiation.
Avoid intense midday sun, especially between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. When spending time in the sun, it is recommended to wear protective clothing, a hat and sunglasses.
Don't forget to apply sunscreen to frequently overlooked areas such as the ears, hairline, neck and tops of the feet. Ears are among the areas at high risk of UV damage, as they are often skipped when applying SPF, and the skin in this area is sensitive to long-term sun exposure.
Applying an insufficient amount of product significantly reduces the level of protection.

WARNINGS
For external use only. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place and do not expose to direct sunlight or freezing temperatures. Do not use on open wounds. Avoid the eye area.
If the product gets into eyes, rinse with lukewarm water for at least 15 minutes continuously, working from the inner to the outer corner of the eye. If wearing contact lenses, remove them before rinsing. If irritation occurs, seek medical attention.
Before first use, a patch test is recommended - apply a small amount of the product to a small area of skin, ideally the wrist, and wait 24 hours. This method can help prevent allergic reactions or sensitivity to any of the product's ingredients.
If an allergic reaction occurs after application, rinse the skin with lukewarm water and discontinue use. If the reaction persists, seek medical attention.

Does the product contain fragrances or irritating substances?
The product contains no synthetic fragrances, parabens, silicones or mineral oils. The formula was designed with an emphasis on comfort and everyday skin tolerability.
